Whenever I click on "Check for Updates", the latest version is being downloaded immediately. I would find it more convenient if I had the choice to download the new version "manually". I would like to see a pop-up notice "Version 0.00 is available. Would you like to download it now?" or something along those lines. I could then choose whether I want to download it now or later, and I could also choose a folder where I keep all my downloaded files. I would then be able to install the new version whenever I like. What do you think?

It is possible, but I would prefer to have more opinions.

However, it was already been requested to insert a string containing the version number in the popup that informs the availability of a new update, see also here...

Thanks for your posts, abc. When I choose "Next Week" (see pic above), I also get a pop-up notice which looks similar. However, the thing is that whenever I click "Check for Updates" in systray, the latest version is being downloaded and installed instantly. I would like to get a pop-up notice whenever I look for updates "manually". However, I agree with Ilya when he says that we should wait for some more opinions.
