I know that DW is not validated for the 64Bits, but what occurs it if I install DW on an OS 64 Bits?
Would I have no protection?

hope dw could support 64bit system. SBie has enhanced protection in such system and comodo D+ has done with new beta vertion, too. I think, dw can do it as well.

I just got 8GB RAM at aria.co.uk for ?30, the temptation was too great so my main rig is on 64 bit now. I just hope Ilya will do what Tzuk has done.

It's becoming far more common where people ask me what internet security I recommend, and I can't recommend DW because the machine they bought came with 64 bit Windows.

Hopefully the wait won't be too long uhm.gif

Practically, nobody needs 8 Gb of RAM, you overpaid for it. 3Gb is more then enough, but MS installs 64 bis OS even on 2GB systems.

8 GB of RAM............and 64 bit OS can be mandatory in some scenario.

If you use software like Premiere, it only installs on 64 bit OS and it's really better if you have "at least" 8 GB of ram.

Best Regards

I understand what you're saying Ilya about 8GB being more than enough in most scenarios, but overpaid? ?30 for 8GB is a steal at the moment IMO

I agree though, I have seen laptops with 3GB RAM coming with a 64 bit OS, which is daft considering how much of that 3GB is used just to boot up.
