Hi everybody!

Here is 3.16 beta for your observation.

www.softsphere.com/files/DefenseWall_Personal_Firewall_v3_16.exe

A number of small improvements are present in order to increase stability and compatibility, such as:

- Strings operations are re-written safe way.
- This build Windows 8 compatible but one issue on MS side cause its "pre" build to hang on restart (Win8 bug ticket #495442).

Tried to get code certificate in order to sign DW with Comodo, but my patience is exhausted because of their "verification" team. Least to say, they made up their mind that my land line phone is "mobile". Totally sucks...

Installed over DW 3.15 on Windows 7 Home Premium x86. No problems to report so far.

After a day of testing no problems to report. Running very smoothly here.

Hi Ilya
It seems that I am the only one providing a negative (don't boo me yet) uhm.gif
OS is Win 7, 32bit
I installed 3.16(beta) over my existing 3.15 and began to get grief.
At idle (no other programs/applications running, except Task Manager)
CPU useage 71-81%
Physical Mem useage 2.0 - 3.5Gb
PC becomes slow to respond to any input
I was not prepared to blame any one program, so I removed 3.16 (that was a painful process...slooowwwww)
After a reboot, I checked my Task Manager again, but this time the figures were much better, at idle (no other programs/applications running, except Task Manager)
CPU useage 2%
Physical Mem useage 1.0Gb
Later I will be REinstalling 3.15, and I will again check, as this has never happened before. uhm.gif
Thanks
Cheers ahah.gif

That's interesting. What was the process causing so high CPU usage?
