I'm using DefenseWall and Norton Internet Security 2012 for security.

Is it suggested that I also use a malware scanner such as Malwarebytes or HitMan Pro? If Malwarebytes, is it suggested that I use the Pro version or the on-demand version?

It wouldn't hurt, I use both MBAM and HMP for occasional scans. I would stay stick with the on-demand version of MBAM. You have a very good setup and it will be highly unlikely that you could get infected unless you have kids that will purposely try and bypass or turn the security off in order to play games.
