When you tried to boot from the CD, did you power off the computer first?

That's the first time I have heard of this issue. I am beginning to think there is Windows issues. There is only one more program I can think of to use and see if there is an exploit causing this. If this fails, then all I can suggest is to reformat.

Please download MBRCheck.exe by a_d_13 from one of the links provided below and save it to your desktop.

http://download.blee...al/MBRCheck.exe
http://ad13.geekstogo.com/MBRCheck.exe
http://www.kernelmod...fo/MBRCheck.exe
  • Double-click on MBRCheck.exe to run it. Vista/Windows 7 users right-click and select Run As Administrator.
  • It will open a black screen with some data on it...please do not fix anything (if it gives you an option).
  • When complete, you should see Done! Press ENTER to exit.... Press Enter on the keyboard.
  • A log named MBRCheck_date_time.txt (i.e. MBRCheck_07.21.10_10.22.51.txt) will be created on the desktop.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that log in your next reply.
