I'm trying to delete traces of adobe reader files from my PC but for some reason it keeps telling me that I need proper permissions. I'm the only user and administrator so I'm not sure why it will not allow me to delete the files. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. I also tried advanced uninstaller and Microsoft Fix-it but both did not work. This seems to be a known issued but I could not find the right solution. I'm hoping you guys will be able to help me.
I'm running on Windows 7, 64bit.
Thanks,
Chris

Update: I was able to remove the stubborn files after doing some research and stumbling upon this fix called "take ownerhip" http://www.howtogeek...-menu-in-vista/
Once I installed it, I right clicked on the file that would not delete, chose "take ownership" - it did it's thing, then I right clicked again and delete. I'm just posting this in case anyone runs into this. Hopefully it will help.
