My norton antiviruis suggest to do this about my spyware.perfect problem but i have been unsucessful:

When Spyware.Perfect installer is executed, it performs the following actions:

There is nothing in your log showing that infection.

Norton AV will remove it. If it does not, then that issue needs to taken up with Symantec.

Where does Norton say the exploit is??

Note: Since you have the Symantec Web Page, if all else fails, you can follow the instructions for manual removal.

The exploit is in a folder and when i delete it in safe mode i boot up and it replaces itself. I can see nothing unusual in the registry either.

Sorry if i dnt answer your question too well but i have no clue were logs for the norton scans are kept. If i knew i would tell you the exact folder were the problem is. Well thanks for checking my registry anyway.

Do an online scan here:
Please run these two online scans. Make sure they are set to clean automatically:

TrendMicro's HouseCall
ActiveScan

You should try to delete any files that these scanners are unable to clean. Then let us know if its working better and what the scans found.



Re Norton logs. The Help for Norton AV should tell you how to find the logs. Often they are referred to as 'reports'.
