Hi Ilya,

I have QUESTION

I do not run an outbound firewall, beacuse I think it is spoiled energy to add prevent thiefs from running away with data, I rather focus on preventing the thiefs to break in.

DW has te option to secure files. Securred files can not be modified by untrusted aps. I would like to have the following.

I would like access protection (read, create, copy, write, delete) for my folders to all untrusted applications, except a few exceptions like Internet and E-mail. The reason for this is simple. My wife also uses this computer and she does not want to download music, files, e-mails in a special folder. I do not have an outbound software firewall. I do not want any accidental downloaded malware to steal our data.

Is this something you are inclined to offer in future versions (allowing specific folders to be accessible by only trusted aps and some named untrusted aps)?

Not sure in it. The reason is that if untrusted process may have any kind of access to files and folders, secured for others, it mean that this data may be stolen.

If your wife need to download files- she need download it within download zones, those files will be auto-protected within 15 days automatically.
