Hi,

I would like to confirm whether an update is available. uhm.gif

The reason - when I clicked on the option "Check For Updates", defensewall.exe seemed to be receiving some files (about 2.0 MB) but the update process could not be completed.

The firewall log:

DEFENSEWALL.EXE TCP local:192.168.0.10 1125 softsphere.com HTTP *Allow Outbound TCP to 80 OUT 9:30:12 PM 9 min(s) 47 sec(s) 424 Bytes 3.2 MB 5742 Bps www.softsphere.com

EDIT: I have tried again after posting this message, it still behaves that way.

Yes, just released 2.01 version.

Why it can't complete update process? What is the error message?

Hi,

I have managed to update it to the latest V2.01.

What are the new features?

Just updated my copy via Internet- no problems.

There are almost no new features but file and registry security settings protection. All the other improvements are bug fixes (HKCU->HKU\S-..., for instance).

All the other additional features (like browser selection for "Go Banking/Shopping") that requires GUI changes I'm planning for the next "major minor" version (2.10) I start making when I'll get back from my very little vacation (24-26 August, Hillel's Congress near St-Petersburg, I'll be out of Internet this time, so, unfortunately, won't be able to provide any kind of support this time, I'm very sorry).

OMG.gif Ilya, I would not call that vacation.

You're working so hard maybe you should consider taking real vacation.
