I use Comodo firewall (under Vista SP1), and I have enabled the Defense+ module in Comodo in order to enable full leak protection.
If I'm using DW, is there any need to do this, or is this overkill? And if there is a need to do this, could I use a relatively nonintrusive program like Threatfire for this purpose?

I have both on my computer and actually trust DW more. I have no conflicts or problems.

Just make sure you are using pre-2.30 build with Vista SP1.
