Running fine here with XP SP3. Getting use to the resource protection.
Question: Can i use it to protect Roboform data or is it unnecessary? I tired but then i cant use it, DW blocks the access. I assume thats what it supposed to do.

If you want to protect Roboform resources, you need associate its data folder with the browser you use with Roboform.

1. The save DW settings has internal and additional lists. What is saved in what?
2. When I want ot set up some additional registry and file protection and I want to share only this with friends. How do I do that?
3. Do the registry resource protection entries also faciliate wild cards (in registry like * or ?). When I enter a registry key, are the subkeys and all the values in it also contained?
4. Does the file protection also facilitate windows variables (like %windir%)
5. Would it make sense to include HKLM hives (since normal restricted user policy containment would not allow you to change them)?
I gues the HKU and HKCU would make sense
6. Would protection of critical windows files in the root directory, windows and system32 make sense (normally restricted)
Thanks Kees

Additional: Secured, DownloadArea, ExcludeList, RollbackList
Internal- TemporaryModifyList.
Use "save resource protection" list if you mean resource protection settings.
Yes, but very limited.
Yes with defensewall_initialization.txt list, but not the list into the registry.
I gues the HKU and HKCU would make sense
No, this will cause your untrusted processes die. "resource protection" means "no other untrusted process can get any kind of access to given resources but associated ones".
No, it is already here with 2.40 build.

Anyone else experiencing this? What is happening is when I do a download or add an app to the Untrusted Applications list and then open up the Untrusted tab to remove it, Defensewall crashes.
