however, if I double click on the "virus detected" from several days ago it says "still infected"
Being an absolute novice I'm puzzled.
Your help would be much appreciated.
I'm not sure what you mean by double clicking on "virus detected" ? Is this a file, a report or what?
If I click on the AVG icon on my desktop, and the on "test results" it shows me a list of tests it has run for the last about three weeks. If no virus is detected it says so, if virus IS detected it says so in BRIGHT RED.
My test results since I deleted my temp int files say there is no virus detected, but if I go back to the one in red from last monday and double click on it, it says IN RED STILL INFECTED, or is that just because AVG couldn't put it in the vault and "heal" it?
Hope that makes sense.
