I have downloaded AVG and have run at least 4 scans. There are a few things that it cannot get rid of: Dyfica 2.1, Istbar 3.BE, Dyfica 2.F, Dyfica 2.P, Dyfica BL, and Agent.AS. I have also downloaded and ran Spybot; there are 7 problems it cannot fix. I have dounloaded Adware as well, but am unable to pay the 29.99 to get it to delete the items. I won't be able to do that for a few weeks. The only problem I am really having is the computer running slower and pop-ups, even with a pop-up subtracter. I hope you can help. Please give me details as to what to do and where to find things as this is a first for me. Here is my Hijackthis log:

I am also having trouble with my other computer. I believe it has a virus or viruses. I will try to do a san with AVG and it closes the program; it is very, very, very slow; and it sometimes just shuts down saying SHUT DOWN BY N AUTHORITY or something like that. I have even tried to do the system goback and it will not run through all the way. When I do msconfig lsas.exe, scrgrd. exe, and smsc.exe show up that I have not noticed before. From the AVG that I have gotten to run it says infected with Puritys, Alschem, and Agent; but the most it has been able to scan was 915 files before closing the program. Any idea what virus and how to get rid of it?

Hmm, there is a lot of garbage there. So before we tackle anything with HiJackThis here are two programs to run:

First:
Please download and Install Spybot S&D from here:

Be sure you bring Spybot S&D up to date. To bring SpybotSearch & Destroy up-to-date - Start the program and press the "Search for Updates" button. Put a check inside the items listed to download and install them.

Then click on "Check for Problems". Have Spybot remove/fix all that it lists in RED.

Once Spybot S&D is finished removing the items listed in red, close the program and restart your computer. If Spybot S&D says it needs to start up when your computer reboots - let it as it will be needing to finish the removal of some components of the spyware it found.


Then:
Download the latest version of Adaware (get the free edition)
http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
(choose download from the lefthand menu)

Go to: Select Full Install and choose the download location of your choice (1.7mb)
Choose Download from http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail.php3?fid=965718306 <--(I found FileForum easiest)

Be sure to UPDATE BEFORE SCANNING FIRST!! That is a very important step and I have included easy directions.

After download and installing first, please update the program. Just open Adaware and click on *Check for Updates Now* and then *Connect*. It will find a new reference-file. Click *ok* and let it download and install the updates by clicking on *Finish* .This will return you to the main screen. You should now see Reference File # :01R323 20.06.2004 or higher listed.

Next, go to Settings (the gear icon at the top) and then *Scanning* and checkmark these items so they will be green:
Scan within archives
Scan my IE Favorites for banned URLS
Scan my hosts file

Then click *proceed* to save settings.

Click on *Tweak* next. And checkmark to make this green also:
Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion

Click on *proceed*

Next, from the main screen, click on *Start* (lower righthand corner) and put a dot in the box next to *use Custom scanning options*, then click *Next* to start your scan.

Checkmark any items found after scanning to remove (this will actually put them in quarantine and can recover from backup if any should not be removed).

Reboot your PC after cleaning with Adaware and scan again. Repeat the process until no further items are found as bad.

Run HiJackThis and post a new log in this thread.

As I had said before I had downloaded Spybot and ran it before posting here; but did it again and there are still 7 problems it cannot fix: Huntbar.Stoolbar, CleverlEHooker.Jeried, DownloadWare, DSO Exploit, GolnDirect, HuntBar, Retrieve, adn Unknown IE Seart URL.

Again, I had downloaded and ran the Adware as well. But as I said before it is still unregestred as I cannot affort the $29.99 to register it and delete the infected files. Adware found a total of 86 infected files.

Can you still help me?
