Ok, so i have never heard of gamegain before nor have i ever downloaded it. But all of a sudden my computer shut down. It booted back up and i had this big piracy notice saying i pirated the program. It showed me my IP and said that they could contact my ISP and all that. I have removed the problem because i found where it was stored (in the system folder) and it doesn't happen anymore. My main concern, and you can't blame me for being a little concerned
, is can anything happen? I have read around the net and google searched it and stuff..and others have also said that they had received this spyware..and for the ones that do have it they said it is merely a scare tactic so that u buy there product. All i would like to know is..can anything happen?..cuz i have never even heard of this program..and i think its kinda hard to find out ones ISP. -Thanks a lot to anyone that can provide a solution to this!
