Greetings,

I have been experiencing several IE-related problems.

For example...

(a) - when I shut down my laptop, I get 'iexplore.exe' error messages and I seem to
have to click off as many 'iexpole.exe' error message dialog boxes equal to how many
IE browser windows that I had opened during a particular session,

(b) - I cannot change my home page in my Tools> Internet Options widow,

© - URL Proxy does not work when I click on links in any email and I have to open
Windows Task Manager to end the 'not responding' problems. The only way for me
to access links/URLs in email is to copy/paste it to a new browser window,

(d) - I'm constantly encountering problems when I try to click to websites in IE, as I
get 'page cannot be found' and 'action cancelled' messages, amongst other similar
problems,

(e) - often, I experience very slow loading of web pages and at times, pages will
permanently 'hang' and I have to open a new browser window and copy/paste the
URL to a new window and sometimes said URL will work and sometimes it will just
hang as before, and I have a high speed cable connection,

(f) - when I click on the IE 'e' icon on my desktop or on my taskbar, I have to click on
it 4 or 5 times (..instead of one click..) in order to activate a new IE browser window
and sometimes, I have to click on the 'e' several times to activate a new browser window.

Plus, I recently was able to remove another problem, as I had a 'panostandalone'
error message that kept appearing and an imaging software program that would block
access to other programs (..I removed the imaging software and reinstalled it and the
problems disappeared..) but I don't think these two problems were related to my IE
problems, however, I thought I would mention them, just in case.

I've run Spybot S & D, AdwareAlert, Ad-Ware SE Personal, Norton Spy Sweeper,
XoftSpySE and hijackthis, so I more than performed your recommended steps prior
to my posting to this forum.

So, below is my hijackthis log file.

Hopefully, you will provide assistance so I can fix my IE problems.

THANK YOU in advance!

OK, here's my hijackthis log file ...
