Can you please help me? I seem to have a malware infection that I cannot get rid of. At first it reset my home page and I seem to have fixed that. But now I have 2 icon poppong up in the tool bar at the right corner stating I have a crictal systme error. I cant ge trid of it. I have ran spybot, Adware SE, and Norton both in regular mode and safe mode. It cleaned some stuff but did not fix the problem. Below is my highjack this file.

Run HiJackThis again and post a new log in this thread.

Please download SilentRunners from here:

Unzip it to the desktop and double-click on it.
Silent Runners will ask if you want to skip the supplementary search.
Please select 'No' to include them.
The program will take longer to run, but will give us more information.

If you get any kind of warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.

When the scan is finished, a message will pop up and a logfile will have been created on the desktop.
The logfile is named 'Startup Programs' by default and will be located where the program is.

Please post the entire contents of this logfile for me to see.

Ok did what you said. It would not let me delete the c:\windows\system32\tazth.dll file. I was in safe mode but said this file is disk proteected and will not allow me to delete. Below is my new hijackthis file, will be posting the silent runners file in a few.

ok having a bit of a problem. Running the silentrunners like you asked,but when it saves a log file
I cannot find it. It is telling me its in the same file as silentrunners but that is in the temp internet files
and there is no log file there.

If you still have the Silent Runners zip file, unzip it to its own folder on your Desktop and run it from there. Do not run the script from the zip file. If necessary, download SR again.
