Nothing in your HJT Log other than a few items of cleanup and the need to update your Java runtime modules. Can you describe your symptoms in more detail?

First:
Once your system is clean, you need to update your JavaRuntime module(s) to the most current version [ JRE Version 1.6.0 ]. You can download it directly from Sun at this link: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Note: Be sure to remove all prior versions, using Add/Remove Programs, before you install the new one. Reboot after removal and prior to installation.


Second:
Run HiJackThis and press the Scan' button

When the scan is finished:

Third:
Please download SilentRunners from here:
http://www.silentrunners.org/Silent%20Runners.zip

Unzip it to the desktop and double-click on it.
Silent Runners will ask if you want to skip the supplementary search.
Please select 'No' to include them.
The program will take longer to run, but will give us more information.

If you get any kind of warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.

When the scan is finished, a message will pop up and a logfile will have been created on the desktop.
The logfile is named 'Startup Programs' by default and will be located where the program is.

Please post the entire contents of this logfile for me to see.

The problem I'm having is that when I open the explorer the computer starts to slow down to a point where it seems like stuck. Like clicking your bookmarks and getting the list like 5minutes later. So I'm not able to download any of the things you told me there.

Try turning off Windows Update in the Security Panel, reboot and let me know if that improves the response.

There is more than one cause of the problem you are experiencing.

How is the slowdown? Did you turn off Auto Update? Note: Only turn off Auto Update to test if that is the cause of the slowdown.

I turned it off and I was able to download and install everything. After that I went to the windows update page and made some updates and it took some time to show me the updates. After that I ran it again to check and at some point durning the check it got real slow again.

I installed the hotfix 927821 but I have no clue which of the WSUS version 3.0 client program to download and install. x86, x64 or itanium-based..how do I know which one?

Use the X86 version.

Done....everything seems to be working fine now. Should I set the auto update back to on?

Yes, set auto update back on, reboot, then check to see if the problem came back. There have been a few sporadic reports that the issue still exists. Microsoft is looking in them, but no further information is available.
