That is a very good question. At the moment I do not have a job and therefore can't afford to pay for one nor have I really found one I like (any sugestions on what one I should get?). I was using AVG up until about a week ago when the trial ran out. Now I use Trendmicro's online virus scan until my financial situation resolves.

You also have Avira OR Avast that are good FREE antivirus. I'm running AVG right now, but I ran Avast! for over 2 years. You should definitely also maintain a firewall. Some good free firewalls are Kerio, or Outpost. I use Comodo on my own system and really like it. http://comodo.com

I was using AVG 7.5 Anti Malware(avg75amwt_516a1262.exe) and when the tiral was over it told me i had to buy it or not use it.

I want you to consider replacing Window Firewall. It isn't adequate for protecting your system. When you download another Firewall, the program usually turns Windows Firewall off. If not, you can go in there and turn it off manually.

Here is a new HJT log. Everything seems to be ok. Avast! told me there were no viruses on the comp and then Comodo told me it found two. Does Avast usually take like 8hrs to scan?

It can take a log time, depending on what kind of scan you do, how many files it has to scan through, etc....... were the things Comodo found in system restore?
Just a couple of clutter lines in HijackThis, otherwise it looks good :
Please run HijackThis! and click "Scan." Place checks next to the following entries, if present:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CTHelper] CTHELPER.EXE
Close all browsers and other windows except for HijackThis!, and click "Fix checked".
Reboot your computer.

I think it was because I set it to a complete scan. I scaned using standard and it only took like 45 min.
