Sunbelt Personal Firewall helps control how your computer exchanges data with other computers on the Internet or local network. Kerio Personal Firewall is designed to protect any Windows PC that is connected to the Internet using DSL, cable, dial-up, ISDN, WiFi or satellite modems.

Sunbelt Personal Firewall is FREE for home and personal use. For home users, Kerio Personal Firewall 4 is available in two flavors - the full edition and the limited free edition.

After installation, KPF works as the full edition for 30 days, after which it becomes the limited free edition.

Limited free edition does not provide the content filtering capabilities such as blocking pop-up windows, ads, VB scripts, cookies, etc. and other extra features. Please see the comparison table for more details.

Sunbelt Personal Firewall 4 does not run on the following operating systems:
Windows NT/2000 Server/2003 Server/95/98/98SE/ME/Vista/64-bit Windows

Sunbelt Personal Firewall will automatically disable the Windows Firewall that is included in Windows XP.

KNOWN BUGS, LIMITATIONS, AND WORKAROUNDS

When using a password to restrict access to the configuration console, you may encounter some screen flicker if you cancel the password request dialog.

There are known issues when using Sunbelt Personal Firewall and certain USB wireless network cards that may cause General Protection Faults.

The Sunbelt Personal Firewall (SPF) now supports Windows XP and Windows Vista, and it DOES filter both in- AND outgoing traffic. Of course it works great with CounterSpy. The SPF two-way firewall keeps hackers out and your private info inside.

What's New In The Latest Version?
The biggest addition is support for Vista 32 bit (with 64 bit support on the roadmap). However, there's been a lot of under-the-hood improvements in many areas. These include:
