Pop-up tests sites

You can use these to check if your pop-up blocker is working correctly. These sites also attempt to use some rather intrusive methods to get past your pop-up blocker so you can check that you blocker will block almost every pop-up.

Port scanners/firewall tests

These tools allow you to test if your firewall if functioning properly and if specific ports are blocked. If you do not have a firewall I would recommend you vist Firewall Forum and install a recommended firewall and read this topic on firewalls.
