Vidalia is a cross-platform controller GUI for the Tor software, built using the Qt framework. Using Vidalia, you can start and stop the Tor software, view its status at a glance, and monitor bandwidth usage. Vidalia also makes it easy to contribute to the Tor network by helping you set up and manage your own relay.

Vidalia runs on most platforms supported by Qt 4.2 or later, including Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux or other Unix variants using the X11 window system.

Windows users have the option of installing Vidalia by itself, or as part of a bundle that includes the latest version of Tor and Privoxy pre-configured to work together. If you have never installed Tor before, the easiest option is for you to grab the bundle from our download page.
