What is QuickDic?
QuickDic is a simple to use German English / English German dictionary, designed to help you find an acceptable translation to a specific term. All words provided with the program are either based on various sources from the Internet or were entered by myself and other volunteers.
The current version contains over 265,000 words and idioms in each language and provides a lot of features which can be a great help to meet your demands, including
Phonetic transcriptions of frequently used words in both languages
New German orthography
a fast and powerful look-up function, optionally for use of regular expressions
improved restrictions for search results
a database with more than 265,000 words and idioms in each language which is being updated frequently
extensible user database which allows you to add your own words and translations
optional information about number and gender of most German nouns
for verbs it can be displayed if they are transitive or reflexive
translation results can be grouped by their meanings
the facility to display a list of similar words for future reference
the capability to convert decimal numbers with up to 15 digits into words
information about conjugated German verbs and irregular English verbs
functions to learn any desired vocabulary

QuissWord, the generator for crossword puzzles which you can solve by translating the questions
