Full Version: Does DefenseWall Logo blink when under attack from malware?

When I am running emule, the DefenseWall logo that appears at the top of the emule screeen blinks randomly.

Just wondering if it does this when DefenseWall is under attack from malware?

I think DefenseWall is working because in the past I always have to "re-image" the hard drive periodically because malware always sneaks in thru emule and eventually screws up the hard drive- I don't see any signs of this yet.

Commodo firewall seems to have compatibility problems with a number of products including SSM, Anti-Hook, and DefenseWall.

It is because eMule updates its window's logo text. After that DW adds its signatute. That is why you have blinking. It is not about malware.

How about adding a feature that puts a counter on DefenseWall to tell you how many times you have been attacked by malware?

It is impossible because DefenseWall can not determine if potentially dangerous behaviour is caused by malware or by legitimate application.
