Hi, I'm new to the forum so I'll start by saying HELLO. ciao.gif

I've been using the Kerio Personal Firewall since before Sunbelt, and I've allways had 1 PC. Now I bought a second one, but when I enabled the Gateway Mode on the firewall to share the internet conection, y lost that nice STEALTH feeling... if you know what I mean.

Now the PC being the gateway it's completely visible from the internet.

I HATE :furious: that because the Windows built in firewall mannages to share de internet keeping all machines Stealth. Why can't Kerio do that? Can it be fixed???

Thanks :)

PD I'n from Argentina and my english isn't that good so excuse any mistakes please!!

If you are using Windows XP, ditch Kerio and go with Comodo (v2, not the v3 alpha). I gave up on Kerio when it interfered with Adobe Creative Suite 2. Sunbelt was aware of the issue, but chose to do nothing about it. Kerio was great thru v2.1.5,. but after that, it wnet down hill and is still stying to work its way up.

Hi MasterTB,

Sunbelt Kerio will not give you stealth while in gateway mode. This is due to the firewall itself making reply to scans while in this setting.
If you want to continue with sunbelt, and you are only using the client PC for browsing, then I would suggest to disable gateway mode, disable the windows ICS, and use a local proxy server. A free local proxy server can be found:- http://www.analogx.com/CONTENTS/download/network/proxy.htm
