It could be a matter with the ISP. How do you connect? Dial up? Or do you have a broadband connection? Did your provider change anything at their end? New servers? Different DNS addresses?

I think it is best to ask your ISP to rule out that the problem is with them.

We have high speed DSL and are a network of three computers. Nothing has changed with ISP, we've not changed anything at all and other two computers are fine. It's just the 1 computer and up to maybe 3 weeks ago all was working well.
Whatever it is seems to be getting worse..

DSL is shared with other people "on the block". It might be that they are downloading or otherwise hogging the lines.

Download Rootkit Revealer, and extract it. Double click on Rootkit Revealer and press "Scan". After the scan press "File"->"Save..." and copy/paste the contents in a new post.

While Rootkit Revealer is running, please do not do anything else as this will give distracting information in the log it produces.
