I am running v 1.74 and I am OK - the driver fails to load correctly sometimes, but I restart and problem is gone.

I know of some of the layout improvements in v 2, but what are the security improvements?

Is v2 still out of the box security or will I need to set it up in any way to get the optimum out of it?

First of all- v2 is still "out of box" solution. There are just more options for people who would like to customize/setup it.

Definately, there are a lot of security-based improvements, for example, advanced keylogging detection (Martin's Undetectable Keylogger is detectable :) ) + some inner things and bugfixes.

Good to hear that youve got control on Martins! A good sign that DW antikeylogging is improved.
