Full Version: Problems after installing Trillian

Defensewall has been working fine for the last few weeks until I downloaded and installed Trillian messaging service - Basic. After installing and configuring I check Defensewall untrusted processes just to make sure Trillian was on it and add it to my untrusted list if needed. However, nothing was in the untrusted processes, strange since firefox was also running and both were in trusted processes. So I go to the Add untrusted list and its empty when normally there are about two pages worth of untrusted files/applications etc.

I shut down firefox and Trillian and restart them, still they are not untrusted. I shut down Defensewall and restart it and it tells me that the "Driver is not initialized" and it has the same problem from above. I close everything again, including defensewall, as well as check with task manager to make sure no Defensewall processes are still running, and still it says drivers not initialized when I re-run defensewall.

After restarting my computer Defensewall seems to work fine. I start Firefox and it shows up as untrusted like normal. However, when I keep defensewall open I run Trillian and in the untrusted process all that shows up is "( " . However, as soon as I run another program, like Firefox, whatever entries are in the untrusted processes disappear. I close defensewall again and at that point (or when I re-rean a new defensewall, I can't remember) I get a "Server not initialized correctly, please reinstall" error message from Defensewall. After that, any closing/opening of defensewall leads to same "driver not initialized" message.

I will attempt to reinstall defensewall tomorrow when I get some time and post further information, but any advice in the meantime is appreciated.

Ah, I know the reason. Will be fixed right now and published within the next beta build. You must be installed Trillian as untusted. My advize- uninstall Trillian and install it as trusted.

Ok done. Trillian installed and running and Defensewall not wigging out. Thanks.

So it still has problems when trillian runs as untrusted. Is there any way to add trillian to untrusted or should I just wait till next build of Defensewall and run trillian as trusted in the mean time?

Just wait a little bit, I'm working under next beta build.
