Friends and wizards of GSF! hello.gif

I do not use IE any more ...

However, there are times when IE is used by some programs by default ...
For example when you check an update for ccleaner it opens IE ...

And IE goes to that stupid MSN page ... :furious:

Yesterday I changed the hope page to a blank ...

And the SpywareGuard warnings started ...

WARNING! Your IE homepage has been changed!
Your Internet Explorer current user homepage has been changed from
about:blank to
http://www.microsoft.com/isap/redir.dll/?p...ver=6ar=msnhome

The worse part is that however much I press retain old page it nags!
You just have to hit that cross on the top right hand of SG to shut it down
and leave it for it to reappear when you start the PC again!

How in the world does one fix this?

Can I NOT control my home age in IE??? uhm.gif
Do I have to be dragged to Microsoft the few times I use their browser?

Help please!

That sounds like a SpywareGuard issue. It's been a while since I used it but I thought it had an option to allow the change (which is what you want).
