Okay, I find I type better on an older laptop keyboard I have, but I have a new laptop, I was wondering if it is possible to remove the LCD screen on the old laptop or something and connect the keyboard on that laptop to my new laptop somehow. The old laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 2100CDS, my new laptop is Averatec 4700series

Hi Anyr

I won't "mix" old hardware elements with the new notebook. Reasons are:

* loosing any warranty,
* you can damage your new notebook using incompatible hardware,
* causing unexpected problems with the whole computer after that "mix"

Why don't you look for an external keyboard that suits. In that reported case it's nearly 100% guaranteed that these hardware items won't fit...
Sorry to say
