Hi, I have recently been infected with virus' but have managed to kill them. I don't want to be infected again so I want the maximum protection on my laptop. So i have downloaded alot of protection packages, this is all good but it has slowed down my laptop alot! So im just asking anyone what I should uninstall and if theres anything that I've got that speeds your pc down alot please tell me aswell. Also, I have read that it is not good to have too many programs installed so... yea
ZoneAlarm Security
Windows Defender
SpywareGuard
SpywareBlaster
Spybot - Search & Destroy
avast! Antivirus
Ad-Aware 2007
AVG 7.5
These are the programs that I currently have running on my laptop, Cheers.

Hi:
Well one thing I see that will cause problems is the running of 3 AntiVirus programs. The rule is that only one is needed.
ZoneAlarm Security includes everything that U need. With that avast! Antivirus and AVG 7.5 are not needed.

I second Grand Dad's words. Running 3 or more AV, AT, AS and related programs do not enhance the security of your system. They'll slow down your computer dramatically and harm up each other.
Look out for one, but a really good one.
I'm running OutPost Pro, KAV 7.xx, Comodo BoClean at one of my computers.... never caught an infection til today.
If you have queqstions about details which programs you should look for, let us know, kay?
