I don't know what happened but the software is still protecting me good because I tested it.

That looks like the buggy skin engine that Ilya is trying to replace...but he can confirm for sure.
Try killing the executable in the tray area and restarting it. That has helped me in the past.
As for protection, don't worry- DW's functions are at driver-level, so the GUI isn't integral to its operation.

Yes, something is wrong with skin engine, I'm already seek and tired of its bugs and problems. Looking for the new one, but it is not so simple as I thought first time...

Don't know if it's relevant but had same problem. I blamed it on over keen use of a clean up utility, nCleaner, which I had just used. :(
Updating to latest problem solved problem.

nCleaner really is for knowledgeable/advanced user - it's a great program but.....handle with care; same as CCleaner - registry cleaner - use with caution -
