Hi everybody!
I'm always trying to ask press and bloggers for DefenseWall's review or comparative test. Unfortunately, their number is so huge that I can't cover all of them. If you want to see such the review at your favorite blog or site- please, do not hesitate to ask their staff for it (but remember, spamming is not in option). Usually, they more attentive to visitor's requests that from vendor's ones. From my side, I can guarantee full cooperation.

Hi Ilya,
You can do something yourself to get more reviews of DefenseWall. For instance at
http://fileforum.betanews.com , a very popular high-traffic download site based on user-reviews of software, DefenseWall still figure with version 1.61 and the download link points to :
http://www.softsphere.com/_files/_DefenseWall_v1_61FileForum.BetaNews.com is the first site I visit when looking for software. If I find something interesting I will try to get second opinions at Softpedia.com and Download.com.
If you update the DefenseWall info at FileForum.BetaNews.com, I will give a user review of it -- and in my review point to the more professional review at
http://www.techsupportalert.com/security_HIPS.htmTry to be seen by updating info at FileForum.BetaNews.com for every small update of DefenseWall, with a couple of lines of things that were bugfixed -- and let the download link always point to the latest version of DefenseWall. Use a more neutral filename, for instance like this:
http://www.softsphere.com/files/DefenseWall_HIPS_setup.

rujohan

Ilya,
You need to mention the magic word "HIPS" as when I do a search for HIPS on FileForum DFW doesn't show.
Any plans to make the updating automatic as unless one visits the forum you would be none the wiser about an available upgrade?
Ian
EDIT. I visit Download.com, Softpedia, Majorgeeks and now Fileforum (courtesy of rujohan). I agree you need to keep the files up to date on all three.
I consider myself an average Joe Public that has an interest in PCs. I suggest you/we focus on the major sites identified by DFW users. Limit it to 5/6. More than happy to join and post nice comments about DFW as in my humble opinion as an average user it's bloody marvellous!
From an user's perspective one needs to get used to installing as trusted; running FF as trusted to get upgrades/extensions; etc..
I would change your description on the download sites to use the language of the normal Joe Public. I have added a few lines to your excellent description from the home-page.
"DefenseWall HIPS
More efficient than an anti-virus!
DefenseWall HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention System) is the simplest and easiest way to protect yourself from malicious software (spyware, adware, keyloggers, rootkits, etc.), that can not be stopped by your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs, when you surf the Internet! Using the next generation proactive protection technologies, sandboxing and virtualization, DefenseWall HIPS helps you achieve a maximum level of protection against malicious software, while not demanding any special knowledge or ongoing online signature updates. No signatures, no popup windows, no false positives. It is just reliable and transparent protection, easy to use and strong.
DefenseWall HIPS divides all applications into 'Trusted' and 'Untrusted' groups. Untrusted applications are launched with limited rights to modification of critical system parameters, and only in the virtual zone that is specially allocated for them, thus separating them from trusted applications. In the case of penetration by malicious software via one of the untrusted applications (web browsers etc), it cannot harm your system and may be closed with just one click! With DefenseWall HIPS, Internet surfing has never been so simple, safe and easy. Try it today, and you will be convinced!
To install a programme from a trusted publisher you must install the programme as trusted to ensure it is properly installed on your PC.
Likewise, to upgrade an threat software such as Firefox you must run Firefox as trusted to collect the upgrades. Having opted to run Firefox as trusted to collect the upgrades clicking your Firefox icon as usual will run Firefox as untrusted with changes to your critical system parameters protected by DefenseWall.
These very simple changes in behaviour will ensure your system is protected - no need to understand the intricacies of Windows and the registry as with other HIPS!"
The more you can limit the change in user behaviour the more marketable the product.
In essence, position DefenseWall as the user-friendly HIPS by letting prospects know what the change in behaviour is by giving an example in your description.
For most HIPS you need to understand all sorts. For DFW you need to grasp the concept of trusted/untrusted with regard to installing/upgrading software.
DFW is the HIPS for non-Geeks who want powerful protection from zero-day threats.
Have you considered offering a 'free' limited version to get exposure on the free download sites?

1. Yes, for 2.10 version I planning a built-in scheduler for DW. Just give me to get a little rest before it.
2. Yes, I understand that the more I allow user just work the more I'll get customers.
3. I don't believe in limited protection. In the field of security I believe in "all or nothing" concept.
