Emesene messenger
Emesene is a platform independent MSN Messenger client written in Python+GTK and distributed under the GNU GPLv2 license. The main idea is to make a client similar to the official client but with a simpler GUI and a nice look.

OS Independent (Written in an interpreted language) / Currently in Beta stage(testing for final vesion 1.0).

Emesene 1.0.1 released!

The emesene dev team is proud to announce the release of emesene 1.0.1 codename deadbeef.This is a bugfix-only release, including the update of the "application id", hex number that some of the msn servers rejected. All users should update as soon as possible, since this change is going to be applied to all servers, resulting in either error messages when trying to manipulate contacts, or empty contact list after logging in.
