Another security company succumbs to temptation

QUOTE
First one, now another. Is this a trend? And what’s with pre-checking this option?

Clarification: This is not the full Ask Toolbar. It's a subset which only offers the pop-up blocking. Nevertheless, you still get the Ask Searchbar, and it is pre-checked prior to install.

This is far more deceptive than Webroot ; ZA does not show an "Ask" bar installation choice, it just comes long with the install, apparently(?).

Indeed it is a trend and we can't start banning every security program from our forums that adds a toolbar install - we'll be seing more of it, no doubt; many programs, including security ones, are now installing with additional toolbars options, whether precheck or not.
