Hello,

I use Defense Wall current release, and have a Vista Home Premium computer,
I noticed that windows update is prompting me to download Vista Service Pack 1
and am wondering if there are any DW or SP1 issues I should be aware of prior
to installing this update.

Thank you all for your advice, and a special thanks to Ilya for all you do !

I'm running DW with Vista SP1 just fine here
Ilya Rabinovich
No, 2.20 build may cause BSOD. Just wait a bit- I'm working on 2.30 build or you may download intermediate 2.21 build.

Hi Scoobs,

Thank you for the feedback good to know you have not had any problems.

I have not installed Vista SP1 yet because me be a big chicken lol.

Hi Ilya,

Per your advice I will hold of on installing this and wait for DW 2.30 build.

Much appreciate all of the hard work that you put into DefenseWall to make
it such a excellent security application, and it is my number one favorite program.

Thanks,

cbella

Hi,

Just wanted to let everyone know I installed Vista SP1 with no problems,
and the 2.30 build of DefenseWall is working just fine on my computer.

Thanks again Ilya for your advice, and also for the latest build release.

OK, I'll try to release it ASAP in order to make sure users won't have any problems with their Vista SP1 installation and DW. Have to move some functions and improvements to the next after 2.30 release.

Hi Ilya,

You are the hardest working software developer ever !

I am not usually so quick to update on Windows Service Packs but I was experiencing two problems
with Vista that SP1 was reported to solve and that is the reason I installed it so quickly, and have to
say since than Vista has been working great for me, right along with DefenseWall no problems at all.

Hi Ilya,

I have installed Vista SP1 and Defensewall pre-2.30, now it's no more possible to disable/enable applications in the untrusted applications list.
Ilya Rabinovich
Hi!

Very strange- could you, please, provide me more information about it? How does it looks like- I mean, disabled apps do not runs as trusted or they do not have red background with the "Untrusted applications" list?

Edited: OK, I fixed the issue. Re-download pre-2.30 build and install as trusted.
