Hello everyone, I'm glad to be here. They’ve said that you can't teach old dogs new tricks, but here I’ve learned how to google up a forum :)
Anyway, I was wondering if you guys dealt with identity theft issues. Its so scary these days, what with people losing everything right and left.

It’s way less scary if you just ingrain some basic security measures into your attitude. Password strength, antivirus/spam programs, never publishing any important info, it’s all there. If you’re feeling utterly unsafe (or if you do a lot of work online) it might be worth your while to invest in some ID protection software. There’s an ID theft tip thread at the top of this page. It’s very useful. If you’re an old dog it can bundle up a lot of the processes you’d otherwise need to manage on your own. There are a lot of options around. I use trustedID myself, as I’m a contract writer.
