Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder
Mar 26, 2008 - It's official... the Keyfinder has been released as open-source.

The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping. It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Windows Vista, Office XP, Office 2003, and Office 2007.

Please note that some antivirus software may detect this as a "virus" or "potentially unwanted" program. This program isn't a virus but it can be used in the wrong hands to steal your serial number, although on the other side of the coin you may have lost your original packaging and need to legitimately retrieve your serial number for the software you've purchased.

CFG file is an optional config file - this functionality lets you pull a key stored in the registry for any software.

- Font changes are saved under HKCU now.

- New delimiter switch "/delim" for csv output in other countries.
- Ignore spaces at end of lines in .cfg so line won't be ignored by program reading them in.
- Minimize the application if "/close" parameter given.
- Display OS Service Pack level, Registered Name and Organisation.
- Display Product ID for Microsoft products found.
- Display keys for Windows Defender and Internet Explorer if installed.

-Range check error at startup fixed. Blank lines in keyfinder.cfg are now ignored.

- Fixed bug when calling SaveDialog. The file extension wasn't changing when selecting different file types.
