I hope I am in the correct forum. I belong to the American Greetings site and am having problems trying to personalize and print cards.

I am using Vista. I am unable to download the plug in to personalize and print my card. I have followed the directions and still cannot download the plug in. Here is the error message I receive:

Firefox could not install the file at
http://ak.ingag/cp/install/NpPopup.jar
because: Access denied -202

I have always used Firefox to personalize and print my cards. Why am I now having this problem with Vista?

Please help my Granddaughter's birthday is only 1 1/2 weeks away.

I have tried to print the card for my granddaughter from IE. When I was able to download the plug in I received the error message " Error installing font 'Sprocket BT'. Then the card printed a 1/4 card instead of a half fold card.

I wanted to print out the envelope in draft/black and white. I clicked on properties in the print menu and received the error

"Function address O778bb08e caused a protection fault. (exception code Oxe06d7363). The application property sheet page's may not function properly.

Thank you,

How do I download the Create & Print plug in?
If you have never installed the Create & Print software before, or if a new version is available, you will be automatically prompted to download the plug-in.

If you have privacy, pop-up blocking or anti-virus programs on your computer please consult your manual to see what adjustments are necessary to allow you to download this piece of software.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to use Create & Print for the first time:
1. Sign into the site using your email address and password.
2. Click on the Create & Print tab located at the top of the page.
3. Select a Create & Print project to personalize.
4. Click on 'personalize & print'. The Create & Print
Workspace window will open.

Note: If you do not have the latest version of the plug-in, a dialog box entitled "Security Warning" will be displayed. The "Security Warning" is your browser's way of telling you that a site wants to download software plug-in to your computer. Click on Yes to begin downloading the Create & Print plug-in. The process may take several minutes if you have a slow Internet connection. When the installation is complete, the "Create & Print Workspace" window will be displayed.

PROBLEMS WITH PLUG-IN DOWNLOAD FOR INTERNET EXPLORER:
If you experience a problem and the installation does not proceed automatically, you need to check the various settings on your browser to see if you are able to download and run plug-ins. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.

1. Use the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and then click
Control Panel. The Control Panel window will pop up.
2. Double click on Internet Options. The "Internet Properties" window
will pop up.
3. Click the Security tab. This will display the security settings for
the "Internet Zone".
4. Click the Custom Level button. The "Security Settings" will pop up.
5. Look for 'Download signed ActiveX controls', and Enable it.
6. Look for 'Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins', and Enable it.
7. Look for 'Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting', and
Enable it.
8. Click the OK button to save the changes to the 'Security Settings'.
9. Click the OK button to close the 'Internet Properties' window.
10. Close the 'Control Panel' window.

When you return to Create & Print to download the plug-in again, please refresh the preview page before you click on 'personalize & print' by pressing F5 on your keyboard. Now click on 'personalize & print' and you should again receive the prompt to Install and run the Create & Print Plug-in.

Once the plug-in is successfully installed, the workspace will appear along with your project for you to personalize. In the case that the project has not appeared after minutes, please place your cursor in the white middle section of the workspace and right-click on your mouse. Click Refresh from the commands listed to refresh that section of the workspace.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR WINDOWS XP SP2 USERS:
When you receive a message from the Internet Explorer Information Bar, you can click the message to receive more information about why the Information Bar has blocked Active-X controls or to override what has been blocked. You will need to install Active-X controls to use the Create & Print program. When you click the Information Bar, you are given the option to 'Install Active-X Control'. When you click on 'Install Active-X Control', you will receive a prompt asking you if you wish to install the Create & Print plug-in. Click 'Install' and your project will automatically load into the workspace.

Install or uninstall fonts
Applies to all editions of Windows Vista.
Which edition of Windows Vista am I using?

Windows comes with a variety of fonts already installed.

If you want to install additional fonts, you must first download them. You can download fonts from a software program, the Internet, or your organization's network.

NoteBefore you download a font, make sure you trust the source.

I will tell you technically what is happening friends.gif

Because you are a member of American Greetings and want to do a card..you need that Create & Print plug in..but you have something stopping it on your PC... that is why it said NpPopup.jar but should have installed this stuff.

O16 - DPF: {BB383206-6DA1-4E80-B62A-3DF950FCC697} (Create & Print ActiveX Plug-in) - ht tp://ak.imgag.com/imgag/cp/install/AxCtp2.cab
O16 - DPF: {BD8667B7-38D8-4C77-B580-18C3E146372C} (Creative Toolbox Plug-in) - ht tp://ak.imgag.com/imgag/cp/install/Crusher.cab

The step about should let that happen since you will need them to do the card.

Also your java might be out of date since they have updated it recently.

If that is the problem then you can do this..
Download the latest version of http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications".
Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 6
Click the "Download" button to the right.

Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement". The page will refresh.

Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.

Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.

Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java. Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name. It should have the "coffee cup" icon next to it.

Click the Remove or Change/Remove button. Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.

Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed

. Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u6-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

On the font 'Sprocket BT' ...I am not sure that VISTA even has those fonts. I thought they were privately owned and you must buy them...but not sure...they look like this.
