For those who are interested,

The free system repair utilities(stand-alone or an integrated part of a program) below can fix alterations to one's system settings(ex.- internet connection, safe mode, task manager, and registry editor, etc... is disabled, corrupted or not usable) initiated by malware.

AVZ Anti-Virus Utility - http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en&am...vz/download.php

ERUNT - http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/ (Registry backup utility)
EasyBCD - http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 (Recreates deleted/missing Vista boot files.)
Infiltration Recovery Tool(The last program in the list.) - http://freeweb.siol.net/razor256/xss/
RegRun Reanimator(*Note: Located in the "Free download" section which is the second section within this page.) - http://greatis.com/security/download.htm
Remove Restrictions Tool(v1.0.4 is the last, to the best of my knowledge, available free fully functional nagware-free version) - http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secu...ions-Tool.shtml (*Note: Please download from the Softpedia Secure Download (RO) location to obtain this version.);(*Important: To take a quote from Sergiwa's web site regarding RRT: "Since this tool is a security software that deals with the file system, the system registry and the running processes, it MUST be given all the rights it demands in order for it to do it's job. Some other security softwares will try to block the tool and prevent it from doing its job, please make sure that it's not blocked by your filewall and there's no other program blocking it. Before running this tool, we recommend you to disable any other security solution you are runing such as Antivirus, Firewall, monitoring tools ..etc." It is my opinion that RRT should be used in "Safe mode" for conflict-free and best results.);(*Additional Note: The latest freeware version of RRT which is v4.8.0.3 has limited functionality, is nagware and does not have the AutoRemove feature and Removable Media Malware Defender. For those who are interested, it can downloaded from the following link: http://en.sergiwa.com/modules/mydownloads/...id=2&lid=1)
SuperAntiSpyWare(Free) - http://superantispyware.com/download.html
System Repair Engineer - http://www.kztechs.com/eng/download.html

The above utilities are great to keep on hand for those just-in-case scenarios or emergency situations.

For those who are interested,

I would like to take this opportunity to make it clear that the Remove Restrictions Tool(RRT) v1.0.4 mentioned in my original post "should" be used in "Safe mode" for conflict-free and best results.
