Full Version: Checking your system for unknown threats and infections?

Because threats are constantly evovling and becoming baffling harder to detect. What coarse of actions should be taken to check your system is free from any infections? Any software that log changes made to the system? Because it's possible that a threat could hide itself from task manager, is there a reliable way to check running processes? Monitor my internet connections? What else can I do to check the overall integrity of my system?

Sysinternals Suite

Introduction
The Sysinternals Troubleshooting Utilities have been rolled up into a single Suite of tools. This file contains the individual troubleshooting tools and help files.

Download the Suite..find out how to use each tools..and you will be able to do all the things you mentioned.

BTW..if you want to use the Contig..to not only defrag you PC better than any other utilty out there..

You show also download Power Defragmenter GUI so that you can run it in the windows mode with a Graphic user Interface.

Get to know how to use all those tools..and you can find anything on your PC or how it is connecting to the Internet.
