One of my colleagues seems to have a bizarre problem with outlook, virtually everyday the PC locks up in morning when attempting to send the first message of the day.

This requires a ctrl/alt/del to bring up the task manager to close outlook. If they try to reopen outlook again the program just freezes.

The PC requires a restart and then Outlook will work without any more problems for the rest of the day.

Office is fully patched running on WinXP SP3.

I've tried doing a repair install of office but that hasn't resolved anything.

Anyone get any ideas about how to fix it?

Scanpst.exe

Just tried using the above tool, it did find errors in the users pst file which it repaired. Not sure if this has resolved the issue or not yet.
