Recently installed ascentive on my pc to get my computer to speed up through finallyfast website, come to find out this doesn't work a lick. i am trying to remove it from my pc, because when i start up my computer it pops up. It will not let me delete it. The msg i get is " Cannot delete APCLang.dll: Access is denied " Make sure disk is not full or rewrite protected and that the file is not currently in use. How do i get rid of this software off my computer. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome at GSFs. If it can't get removed via Add/Remove Software I would check, if there is any symbol in the systray right lower corner, which need to get disabled before uninstalling it. This would explain the mentioned error message.

If this does not work up, I would give Revo Uninstaller a try. It's free and it works really well. It will search for all the programs on your machine, and completely remove all components of the program.
