MP3Toys v2.9.9.6 Beta is not able to update when running as UNTRUSTED ("Unable to retrieve update information. Please check your internet connection.").
There is no problem when started as TRUSTED.
Here is the DW v2.52 log file:

Update process should be always trusted. But I have peeked up a few things, will update 2.52 soon.
Edited: new build is uploaded, but update process won't runs properly any case.

Thanks.
By the way, yes, I understand that a true program's updating cannot be acomplished when UNTRUSTED (same case as for Firefox's, et al.). But with MP3Toys I am only using its update module as the only way I have to download and save the new available build on my pc. The real upgrade is done manualy later.

I always receive the same message from MP3Toys UNTRUSTED updating module. Anyways, it's no big deal and I can live with that (having to restart it as TRUSTED for doing the update download). I find just strange that it seems to be not seeing my internet connection as alive.
And while we are at this, could you please give a last check on the new DW's build log, just to be sure that MP3Toys is now allowed its duty to run all smoothly:

I fixed up a couple of things. Nothing serious, as I see.

After installing DW's last pre-released 2.54, I now receive some new DW's popups fellowed by some error messages when MP3Toys is trying to scan and keep on with its own music files databases, and connecting with internet informational sites (singers & album, lyrics, images et al. other needed online databases).
Could you please, Ilya, have a check on the log file?

There is also this new entry when working in the tag editor module (using its context menu function, more particularly):
04.27.2009 06:32:30, module C:\Program Files\MP3Toys\MP3Toys.exe, Attempt to open protected file C:\Program Files\ESET\nodshex.dll (Resource isolation)

Something's wrong at your side. I just installed MP3Toys with the latest build of DW and had no issues. If you still encounter the issue, simly add this resource manually as "alow next time..."->"OK".

Yes, sure & easy enough :)
I was just hoping to be of some help to the next MP3Toys|DW users about this weird "corruption" message...
Thanks for trying, Ilya.

It's the only way to have it (other than asking the author).
Or I can email it to you, it will be a demo btw.
And I wonder if this error message would not only happend for the licensee user??

E-mail him. I don't see any "Beta" checkboxes with "Updates" section. Other hand, send me resource protection section exported ("Advanced"->"Options"->"Sade DefenseWal HIPS settings", check "Save resource list" and "OK").

1. OK, according your data, the entry is absent. I don't know why it's not here, it should be there, I just checked it with the version you've sent me and met no issues, all is right.
2. I don't have this checkbox.

It should be ok, then, even if I don't understand the what/how/why of all this.
And if I ever catch the gremlins, I will let you know!
