Hi everybody!
Looks like the 2.52 version cause issues. This is the thread where you have to put your technical descriptions of your problems. But, before doing this- please, check the pre-2.53 build as it fixes a few issues already.

I'm still seeing Mamutu compatibility problems with this version. Same symptoms - install new version of DW, restart, desktop freezes on booting up, I have to log off, back on, and then it works again.

That new version worked ok. Booted up fine and Mamutu recognised the .exe was different and asked to update the rule. Normally that doesn't happen

okay, so now I can post it

DW 2.52 install seemed to make network connection icons disappear, in folder and systray, however, I was still connected...some minor glitch. It did not disable networking.
[edit] now, will go and install 2.53

If you want to see slow opening a browser or whatever then install Sandboxie. I love the application, and have used it off and on for a long time, but the long wait before Firefox opens is just unbearable. DefenseWall opening Firefox is lightning fast in comparison.
Later....

Since the last version of 2.52 when first re-booted Sandboxie seems to get hung trying to initialize. That hangs the computer up. After a couple of re-boots all is fine. Have no idea why ,but I can live with that.

Just try to do following- delete c:\windows\system32\drivers\dwall.sys file to the Recycle Bin and reboot. If the problem still remains (check with a few reboots)- it's not because of DW, other case mail me to support and I'll send you test drivers set to find out what is wrong.

Ilya I deleted the dwall driver. The computer booted fine. Of course there was a DW pop up saying the driver is not loaded. So I then re-downloaded 2.53 . The boot problem started again. I will set Mamutu to not load and wait on the next DW build.
