I am still searching for a firewall to use with DW and the latest release candidate of OA runs very fast until I use it with DW. There is a small slowdown (couple of seconds) opening browsers and Outlook which is not a problem. Opening Office 2007 files or programs takes 15 seconds plus with both OA and DW running. This is way too much! I am pretty sure I saw some posts at Wilders a while back that said the conflict between OA and DW had been resolved but it seems to be alive on my laptop.

Is there some configuration changes I might try that would help this? I am running Vista SP1. Thanks.

Attached is the log file from opening Outlook. As I said, there is only a couple of second delay doing this. There are no log entries created when Word or Excel is launched but there is about a 15 second delay with both OA and DW running. Launching these is virtually instantaneous with only OA or DW running.

Mail me and I'll send you test drivers set. It's all I can do right now.

A note to Ed_H, OA has released a new beta V3.5.0.6. As a user, I just installed DW and find no additional time lag. I am using Firefox browser which has its own time lag and should not be blamed on OA or DW.

This case is closed. Just download the latest pre-2.53 build.
