Hi, I just installed DW. I see there's a nag screen which I assume I'll see on bootup for the 30 day trial, but why do I have to click "Try IT" every time for if DW is installed on my computer?
The main window has no GUI, just a grey window with the various choices. Someone told me there's no GUI at the moment, so if that's the case can someone fill me in about the missing GUI? Thanks in advance. hello.gif

there isn't any "missing GUI" issue , last DW releases were gui less to make it lighter. ahah.gif

1. Nag screen will disappear when you buy DW ahah.gif
2. GUI is here, but it's not as colorful as with previous version as I had to kill buggy skin engine. With the next big v3, colored GUI will be returned back.

[Spoiled now] Ok, but I just hope it will be as an installation/setting option...

Yes, there will be an option to switch it on and off with main menu.

IMO this nag screen in trial v is a bad choice,it will be better if defensewall show this screen or other info after the trial ends........................
for example after 30 days defensewall stop working.
Ilya Rabinovich
Well, I was thinking about it and, I believe, the current scheme is right.

Thanks for the response. Now I know the grey format is normal. (for now) "Not as colorful" is an understatement. LOL good.gif

Well, there is no absolute to stay with any gray format if you don't like this color (and it all depends only on your own choice as in OS settings).

See, as a very simple exemple:

Pretty neat, LoneWolf, almost an eye candy, but I would probably need sunglasses after a while... LOL
I was toying with WindowsBlind the other month and I remember acheiving some really weird suits for my softwares' UI OMG.gif tease.gif

Yes 2.53 is still skinless........
I believe DW3, when it's ready will have an option of skin or no skin.

Well, twl845, the screenshot I posted here was with the most recent DefenseWall pre-v2.53 build. If you're asking about WindowsBlind experiments, I was trying it some months ago but I am not using it anymore, so I don't know how it would pair with the unskinned DW.
