Hi,

I am trying to fix my dads laptop's internet explorer for him. His firefox works just fine and his outlook and other programs are working as well. I have tryed everything I can think of and did alot of googling only to still not find the problem. If anyone can help me I will be happy to try anything at this point. He is running ms windows pro, internet explorer 8.0. If you need a hijackthis log i will post.

* What operating system does your Dad run? Maybe it's somekind of Vista?
* Did your Dad do any changes on the IE settings?
* How about the patch level of the operating system, is it up-2-date?
