Slax 6.2.0 with PAE
"Just a while ago I uploaded Slax 6.2.0 to FTP. It should be now accessible from official mirror, so grab your ISO or TAR format now! :)

What's different? As I mentioned in one of the previous posts, PAE has been enabled to support up to 64GB of RAM. This brings a huge incompatibility with older computers and Slax 6.2 will no longer boot on i486 machines.

This release is not even tested (I didn't even bother to try to boot it), so I welcome all your possible feedback in the comments, at least please tell me if this Slax doesn't work at all :)

"Just for the record, PAE makes it possible for a 32bit system to access all available RAM memory, including the address space above 4GB. If you had troubles with Slax seeing all your 4GB of RAM, that should be gone in Slax 6.2.
This change will make Slax unusable on very old computers (before pentium-pro?), so if you need to boot it on such old machines, please stick with 6.1 branch (currently version 6.1.1), which will work just fine."
