Just recently, my PC starts to have slow startups when the desktop has just loaded...

Checked with Event Viewer and I believe these 2 events are the culprits as they appear whenever theres slow startup.

Heya OhMyGod

can you give us some more details of your system, esp. the operating system? What about the patch level? Did a QND search at Google and could find this here. Another one could be found over at our friends at Wilders.

Here the complete search query

Good luck

That service provides support for 3rd party protocol plug-ins for Internet Connection Sharing, it should be set to manual. To check it click start>run> type in the box services.msc then press enter. Look for it in the list. If yours is set to manual then you may have a malware or virus infection.

I suggest you first download StartUpLite and stop some applicatios from running
http://www.malwarebytes.org/startuplite.php

Startups listed in StartUpLite

Then download and run after you update it..

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Run Malwarebytes' in safe mode and turn off your current anti-virus
before you do to avoid a conflict.

You can also..

Right click on the C drive in Explorer and go Properties > Tools > Check Now (under Error Checking). Check both boxes then click "Start Now". A message will pop up saying that Error Checking will run after you restart the computer. Restart the computer and Error Checking will run automatically after the restart. After it’s finished it will restart into Windows automatically. Report back what it finds. You'll find the log in the Application category of the Event Viewer under an entry called "winlogon".
