I'm using v2.56 paid and have a question.
If I right click a page and click on 'send link' nothing at all happens.
If I disable DW I can send the link.
I use Thunderbird for my email client. on an XP Pro system.
I tried to fix this by changing T'birds status to trusted and I still can't send a link.
Thanks for any help.

Please, do following:
1. Clean up "Events log" sheet ("Delete all"->"Apply").
2. Reproduce the issue.
3. Export DW's log ("Events log"->"Export") into a file and post it here.

Yes, all is clear. Just replace your existing c:\windows\system32\DefenseWall HIPS\defensewall_initialization.txt file with the one attached and wait couple of minutes.

Andro,
I know what to look for but not where to find it.
I was just in something called system32 and Defensewall but found no initialization
.txt files to change.
I'm asking for some simple directions so that I can learn while I do this.
Thanks.

The file is actually in c:\windows\sysem32 (NOT in the Defensewall HIPS folder in system32).
At least, it is on my XP system :)

I was having similar issues to Hugger (clicking on an email link in Firefox did nothing, I just thought that it was expected behaviour so I did not bother reporting it), with the new initialisation file in place, clicked mailto: links in Firefox open up a Thunderbird new message window. :)

Oh, yes, it's my fault, sorry- this text file is within system32 fodler, not system32\DefenseWall HIPS one. My apologies.
